I am a...

Well, it sounds OK. If I have to be something, then it will do.

I don't agree with the trust thing, though
[hold your cursor over each colour inside the box to get an 'analysis']. It takes me a while to trust people, which, I find, is a sensible way to be.

On those very rare occasions when I click with someone instantly, I want to tell them everything.

And, seeing as I love daydreaming as much as I do, I am fairly imaginative. So, it ain't foolproof, this test. Fun, though (if lengthy).

  1. Jesus, Missy, that is some test, I thought it would never end.

I laughed at the part: do you often feel like smashing things up?

Anyway, I am a benevolent idealist. Seems 'accurate' enough, but I always feel manipulated by these things, and I always feel I am two people taking the test, the pre-M.E me, and the post-illness me, very odd.

  2. Tell me about it, Sweetpea. (I hope it is OK to call you that in light of flower incidents of late?) Anyway, that test does go on and on and on and on...

Me too, I laughed at that 'do you like to smash things?' bit and dragged the little arrow all the way to the affirmative. Like you, I feel affected by the insomnia thing and wonder how my answers would differ if I wasn't plagued by the bastard. I did smash a bottle yesterday. I deliberately launched it hard into the recycling box. I was pleased when its smithereens went all over the place.

We are members of the 'benevolent' club. A good club. If a smashy-nicey one.

  3. Hello MD,

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I didn't mention my late fathers to be dramatic, by the way. I just don't know anyone of my age who has had the same experience. And the murder? It wasn't anyone I knew and it was a long time ago. Again, it's just something unusual. These things make us what we are, I guess.

Strange we should both be in the same industry - well, I'm in advertising and internet communications - but similar. I'll certainly keep reading your blog and posting the odd comment. If you'd like to find out more about my Mum, her website is www.bettepaul.net

  4. Hi M&G

Your experiences do sound unusual, and yes, such things do make us what we are, I agree. Your mum's obviously a talented lady – she's written so many books!

There are a lot of writer types in blogland. I suppose it should really go without saying that that is the case, but I've never come across so many people who just write for the sheer love of it. Having said that, it's probably an obvious place for lovers of words to hang out.

    Best regards and do re-visit!
    MD
