Granilante

A grandmother in Melbourne tracked down the two men who raped her 18-year-old granddaughter, knocked on the door and blasted them in the genitals.

The 81-year-old then went to a police station, lay her gun on the counter and, confessing to her actions, said: "They won't be able to rape anyone again."

The men are still alive, BTW.

Three million people in the city want to make the granny mayor or have her canonised. She did what she did because she feared the police would go easy on the bastards, and let's face it, what would they have got? A year or two in return for possibly ruining a young woman's life? Good on her.

  1. Good job Granny! We need more people like that in the world. I wonder how they felt when they saw her, I'm sure they didn't think she would do what she did.

  2. Hi Amenah, I bet they had a shock!! I know some people might think it's barbaric and go on about the rights of the rapists, but the story made me smile.

I mean, these vile people raped a woman. They deserved all they got, frankly.

  3. I don't see how anyone can do anything other than applaud what she did. As you say, they are still alive so she didn't take away their lives, just made sure they won't be able to do that again. It will be interesting to hear what happens to her though.

  4. Exactly, Sanddancer. But you can be sure that there will be certain people bleating about the rights of the rapists...
