One of the magazines that I have subscribed to dropped through my letterbox this morning. I was appalled to see a leaflet for 'Christmas subscription offers' enclosed.
Apparently Harrods and Selfridges already have their Christmas departments open. I'm still hoping for a late show of summer sun so won't entertain thoughts of Christmas yet.
Sanddancer, I'm appalled that the Christmas departments of those shops are already open. Ugggggggh. It just means (for me anyway) that the whole thing is diluted by the time it comes around. I'm with you in hoping-for-an-Indian-summer.
